Hearts of Oak yet to change Twitter header, display name from GPL Champions after losing league title to Kotoko

Accra Hearts of Oak are yet to change their Twitter header and display name two days after their rivals, Kotoko were officially crowned as the Champions of the Ghana Premier League for the 2021/2022 season.

The Phobians won the 2020/2021 season and they still have Phobia – GPL Champions as their display name and a photo of the team with the GPL trophy they won last season.

However, the club only has the photo of the team with the GPL trophy as their cover photo on Facebook.

Asante Kotoko have also changed their Twitter header and Display Name.

The club now has a photo the club’s captain Ganiyu lifting the trophy and Asante Kotoko SC – 21/22 GPL Champions as Display Name.
