Video: Nigerian team go viral for suspected match-fixing penalty shootout

Two Nigerian clubs, Remo Stars and Ijebu United have gone viral for one of the worst penalty shootout in football history.

The two clubs played in the final of the Ogun State FA Cup final and the match went to penalties after the game ended goalless.

During the penalty shootout, Remo Stars’ goalkeeper did not move a muscle while an Ijebu player was taking the penalty.

But the worst of it all was when an Ijebu United player kicked the ball out for a throw in and put his hands on his head to make it look like he expected to score the penalty.
