Ghana football star, Sulley Ali Muntari’s contract with Accra Hearts of Oak expired at the end of the season and the club is pulling every string to convince him to sign a new contract.
Muntari joined Hearts in January and signed a 6-month contract and won the FA Cup and the President’s Cup. But after the expiration of his contract, the former Inter Milan and AC Milan star is reportedly not ready to renew his contract.
There are reports that he might join Hearts of Oak rivals, Asante Kotoko as that is the club he has supported all his life.
According to reports, Hearts’ Board Chairman, Togbe Afede is keen on convincing the player to stay and has offered him a deal.
However, The Post understands Muntari is unlikely to renew his contract unless a miracle takes place.
