The National Sports Authority (NSA), according to reports, earned GH₵ 60 from the gate proceeds from the game between Hearts of Oak and Tamale City last Saturday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
According to the report, the home side, Hearts got GH₵ 2,290 from the 188 tickets sold and earned GHC 417 after deductions.
Hearts sold the ticket for GHC10 for the popular stand, GH₵ 20 for the VIP stand, and GH₵ 50 for the VVIP stand.
Low attendance at football games has become a big issue in Ghana as people are losing interest in Ghanaian football.
Efforts to convince the fans to watch games have failed and some clubs are struggling to get money to pay their players.
