A 28-year-old woman has been taken into custody for committing an abhorrent act of sucking the penis of a 5-month-old baby in Ekumfi Narkwa, located in the Central Region of Ghana.
The woman, who goes by the name Aya, is married and has three children of her own. It is unclear what motivated her to engage in such a reprehensible act that has been roundly condemned by the community.
A video has captured Aya performing the heinous act on the baby for approximately two minutes while he lay innocently on a mat. Shockingly, other women who witnessed the act were heard laughing and providing commentary while filming the incident.
Maame Ekua, the baby’s mother, recounted that she was in her room when she was summoned to come and see what was being done to her son. She was completely horrified and screamed at Aya when she saw her performing the lewd act on her baby. Aya immediately ceased her actions.
Maame Ekua expressed that she would hold Aya responsible should anything unfortunate happen to her baby.
Other members of the community became aware of the issue and took Aya to the chief’s palace after watching the video recording. They demanded an explanation for her actions.
The community is appalled by Aya’s actions and is advocating for stricter punishment to be imposed on her to serve as a warning to others who might consider exploiting innocent children.
The case has been reported to the police for investigation and potential prosecution.
