Adehye FM in Kumasi has revealed details of Asante Kotoko’s coach, Seydou Zerbo’s contract.
Zerbo signed for Kotoko before the start of the season after the resignation of Prosper Nartey Ogum (Ph.D.). The Burkinabe signed a one-year contract with an optional year renewal.
According to Adehyee FM, Zerbo who currently has four months left on his contract receives $3,000 a month and would have been paid $20,000 if he had made it to the group stage of the CAF Champions League and won it.
Since the only trophy he can win is the Ghanaian Premier League, Zerbo would be given $5000 if he is able to lead the club to lift the trophy.

Monthly Net Salary of US$3,000
A signing-on fee of US$3,000
Entitled to 30 days of paid leave in a season
The club must provide medical insurance during the term of his contract shall be borne by the club
The club must provide a vehicle and a driver. Maintenance and fuel costs shall be absorbed by the club.
The club shall provide a 3 bedroom fully furnished accommodation for the coach
Entitled to Gh₵500 Monthly Airtime Bonus
The club may sponsor the head coach to coach courses at National and International levels if any avail itself
Entitled to Gh₵1,000 winning bonus per game in the BetPawa Premier League and MTN FA Cup
Entitled to a US$5,000 Bonus upon Winning the betPawa Premier League
Entitled to a US$3,000 upon Winning FA Cup
Entitled to a US$20,000 upon Winning CAF Champions League
Entitled to a US$15,000 upon winning CAF Confederation Cup
Entitled to a US$10,000 upon qualification to the CAF Champions League Group Stage
Entitled to a US$5,000 upon qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage.
The head coach should at least achieve two of the following targets within the duration of his contract.
1. One betPawa Premier League
2. One MTN FA Cup
3. Qualification to the CAF Champions League Group Stage
4. Qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage.
Asante Kotoko will have to pay Seydou Zerbo the remaining months of his contract if he is to be sacked.
