The Tema Magistrate Court has issued an order for Godpapa the Greatest and his wife, Empress Lupita God Muzaria, the popular TikTok ‘stars’ in Ghana, to undergo a psychiatric assessment. The couple, whose real names are Daniel Chayah and Jocelyn Charyah, are currently facing charges of murdering their two children, according to a report by graphic.com.gh.
During their court appearance on Thursday, June 15, 2023, Presiding Judge Benedicta Antwi granted the order for a psychiatric medical assessment. The purpose of this assessment is to evaluate the mental state of the accused couple.
Furthermore, the court has referred the couple to Legal Aid to provide them with legal representation. As the court does not have the authority to grant bail in this case, the couple will remain in custody until the next court hearing, scheduled for Monday, June 26, 2023.
Godpapa the Greatest and Empress Lupita were arrested by the police and subsequently brought before the TDC Magistrate Court on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, following the tragic incident involving their children.
