Ghana to face Comoros, Mali, others in World Cup 2026 preliminary qualifiers

The Black Stars of Ghana has been drawn in Group I for the FIFA World Cup qualifying game.

Ghana will face Mali, Comoros, Madagascar, Chad, and the Central African Republic.

For the first time in World Cup history, nine African countries will be participating in the World Cup which would be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico in 2026.

Ghana is the only country in Group I that has been to the World Cup before.
