Asante Kotoko Head Coach, Dr Prosper Ogum has reportedly started calling the players he wants to work with in the upcoming season, Oyerepa Radio reports.
According to the report, all three goalkeepers, Fredrick Asare, Danlad Ibrahim, and Moises Poutay have been called by the coach.
The outfield players who have been called by the referee to report to training are Nicholas Mensah, Richmond Lamptey, Rashid Nortey, Mohammed Alhassan, Sheriff Mohammed (Defender), Sheriff Mohammed (Midfielder), Enock Morrison, Steven Mukwala and Georges Mfegue.
Justice Blay and Mohammed Mubarik whose contract will soon end will have their contract renewed, per the report.
The players, who according to the report might not be part of the team are Charles, Appau, Maxwell Agyemang, Solomon Sarfo Taylor, and Dickson Afoakwa. Clinton Opoku is also yet to be called.
The club is yet to announce new players for the upcoming season, however, Richard Boadu and Salifu Mudasiru have been sold to Al Ahly Tripoli in Libya and Al Batin in Saudi Arabia respectively.
