I’ll sack you if you don’t perform – Otumfuo to Ogum

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has told Asante Kotoko coach, Dr Prosper Ogum that he will sack him if he does not perform well.

The owner of the club after telling the coach that he has given him all the time and power to sign players and build a team, he added that he should make sure he perform well.

The Asantehene told him he is not under pressure to win a trophy but “if you win a trophy, I will accept it,” he told Dr Ogum.

The Asantehene told Dr Ogum that he asked people who they believe can coach Kotoko well and they all mentioned his name and that is why he has given him the job.

The team visited the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace yesterday before they traveled to Beposo to start their pre-season for the upcoming season.
