Telecommunication giant, MTN and the National Lottery Authority (NLA) will fund the ongoing projects at Kumasi Asante Kotoko training grounds at Adako Jachie, Oyerepa Radio reports.
According to the reports, MTN will fund the uncompleted building former Kotoko chairman, Dr K.K Sarpong started, as well as, the one the erstwhile management started. Per the report, this means that MTN will return to sponsor Kotoko after three years of ending their relationship with the club.
NLA, on the other hand, will finance the club to construct training pitches including an Astro turf.
The club is also in talks to renew the contract of sponsors whose contract with the club has ended. Per reports in the media, the club has reached an agreement with Zeepay and Hisense have agreed to renew their contract.
Also there are reports that the mining company, Newmont is likely to become the headline sponsor of the club as they have reached an advanced negotiation.
