Some Kotoko fans not happy with club’s new kit sponsors THB

Asante Kotoko fans are not happy with the club’s new kit sponsors, The Hope Brand (THB).

The club announced the deal on Monday, 1 September after the expiration of their contract with Italian brand Errea.

According to reports, the club rejected the brand when they made a proposal to the club two years ago. So far, the only club the company is known to have sponsored is Legon Cities during the 2020/2021 season.

THB is owned by a Ghana and it is based in Germany. The club and the company has signed a one-year deal with the option of extending it for another year.

After the announcement, some fans reacted to the news negatively.
