Five students from Gomoa Potsin T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School are now in police custody, following their alleged involvement in a violent assault that resulted in the injury of a dozen Form 2 students.
This shocking incident unfolded during the late hours, as the arrested students purportedly executed a nocturnal attack within the dormitory of the Form 2 students. The motive behind this disturbing act was traced back to a previous altercation involving one of their fellow students and a junior member.
Under the cover of darkness, the assailants launched their attack after the customary lights-out signal. Their methods were brutal, involving the use of knives and clubs to harm some of their victims, leaving them with grievous injuries. Additionally, they employed flashlights to temporarily impair the vision of their targets, adding an unsettling element of disorientation to the assault.
In the aftermath of this harrowing incident, a total of twelve students were left wounded and in distress. They were swiftly transported to the nearby Potsin Polyclinic for immediate medical attention.
