NSA worker arrested for selling fake Kotoko vs RTU tickets

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced that a staff member of the National Sports Authority (NSA) has been arrested for selling fake match-day tickets for their game against Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The staff member, according to the club was arrested after the supporters assisted the management to find the one selling the tickets.

The sale of fake tickets at the stadium on matchdays is a major problem in Ghana as clubs have been struggling to deal with the situation. Electronic tickets was introduced to end the sale of fake tickets and also people entering the stadium without paying, however, the electronic tickets has also affected the clubs as supporters struggle to buy the tickets.
