Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium pitch turns brown

Images of the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium formerly called the Tamale Sports Stadium has shocked football fans as the pitch as turned brown.

The 20,000 capacity stadium which hosted some of the games during the African Cup of Nations in 2008 is been in a state and urgently needs renovation.

The stadium is home-ground of Real Tamale United and now Karela United which was once based in Anyinase in the Western Region.
