The search committee of the Ghana Football Association that has been tasked to find the next Black Stars coach has interviewed former France and Paris Saint Germain coach Laurent Blanc.
According to reports, he is one of the coaches in high position for the vacant Black Stars job after the sacking of Chris Hughton.
The 58-year-old has coached the French national team, French clubs, Paris Saint Germain, Bordeaux and Lyon, and Qatari club Al-Rayyan.
As a coach, he has won four French Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de la Ligue, 3 Coupe de France and five Trophee des Champions. He has won French Manager of the year twice and has also been named the Ligue 1 Coach of the Year thrice. He won all trophies and awards during his time at Bordeaux and Paris Saint Germain.
During his playing days, he was a defender and played for Barcelona, Inter Milan, Napoli, Saint Etienne, Auxerre, Montpellier, Marseille, Nimes and Manchester United.
He was also part of the French national team that won their first FIFA World Cup trophy in 1998 and the European Cup in 2000.
