Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of full-back Joseph Amoah from Legon Cities.
The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors and Amoah is set to feature in his new club’s 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
In his first official interview with the club, Amoah said that there were offers from other clubs for his services but he rejected all of them to join Kotoko as that was always his choice.
“Coming from a Legon Cities side that had a tough season, to now joining the biggest club in Ghana, is a huge step in my career. There were a few offers on the table, but for me it was always Asante Kotoko” Amoah said.
According to reports in the media, Kotoko beat their arch-rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak to sign Amoah.
