Don’t sack C.K Akunnor when we beat you – Champion tells Kotoko

The Chairman of Ashanti Gold SC, Dr Kwaku ‘Champion’ Oteng has asked their rivals, Kotoko not to sack their coach, C. K Akunnor when they beat them to lift the JA Kufuor Cup on Sunday.

Speaking at the launch of the game, Champion also revealed the coach of Ash Gold has even told him to sack him should he lose to Kotoko.

Last year, he gave his Lamborghini away after Kotoko beat his team in a two-leg friendly.

Though he has not said he will do anything like that this time around, he said should there be a fair officiating, his side will beat the Porcupine Warriors.

Champion also called on football lovers to come and watch ‘classic’ football at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
