28-year old man kills his 58-year uncle after he accused him of stealing rice

A 28-year old man, Kwabena Sarpong has killed his 58-year old uncle, Kwaku Frimpong popularly called Cool Man over stolen rice.

Kwabena Sarpong lives with his uncle and grandmother at Pintin at Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region.

The old lady of the house found out that someone has been stealing and cooking the rice she is selling.

She asked her son and grandson and they both started accusing each other of stealing the rice.

Sarpong pulled his belt and used it to beat his uncle. His uncle warned him not to use the belt again.

Sarpong left the house and later came with a stick and used it to hit his uncle’s head.

Cool man became unconscious and was taken to the hospital where he died a week later.

The police are currently on the search for Kwabena Sarpong as he left the town after the death of his uncle.
