Kotoko can win the Confederation Cup – Amankwaa Mireku

Former Hearts of Oak defender, Amankwaah Mireku has said that the Porcupine Warriors can win the Confederation Cup.

According to him, Kotoko has got all the experience, therefore, they do not need any advice when it comes to playing in such competitions.

‘All they have to do,’ he explained, is for them to learn from their experience in the competition especially the final they played with Hearts of Oak in 2004.

‘Though the players who played the 2004 finals are different from this squad, if they put in more hard work, they can win the trophy.’

In the 2004 final match, which was also the first time the competition being played, the Phobians won by 8-7 on penalties after both the first leg and second leg ended 1-1.
