The local representative of Asante Kotoko striker, Sogne Yacouba, Gyasi Kay has debunked the news that his player is facing spiritual attacks.
For some time now, some fans of the club believe Yacouba’s goal drought is as a result of a spiritual attack, therefore, they must do something to help him.
Kay, in an interview on Ash FM, stated emphatically that Yacouba will start scoring at the right time and that his goal drought has got nothing to do with any spiritual attack and also he is not worried about the lack of goals.
“Songne Yacouba is not worried about his goal drought and he believes the goals will flow at the right time.”
“Kotoko supporters should be calm and keep supporting Songne Yacouba and I know things will start working for him very soon.”
Mr Gyasi added, “The goal drought of Songne Yacouba is not anything attributed to spiritualism so we should just support him and give him time”. I can also say his goal drought can also be attributed to the lack of competitive games in the Country.”
“The system of play in the Kotoko team has changed and every player on the field can score in games,” he concluded.
