The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has asked a question which Mathematicians or people who might want to answer will struggle to find the right answer.
Yesterday, after Kumasi Asante Kotoko got their revenge against Nkana FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium by beating them 3-0, NSMQ ask if anyone can calculate the sound emanating from the stadium.
NSMQ asked “Calculate the decibel level of the sound emanating from the Baba Yara Stadium following @AsanteKotokoSC’s victory this afternoon. #NSMQ2019Regionals.”

After the question was asked, Kotoko also retweeted the question and said the “correct answer carries three points.”

With Kotoko’s huge fans, it will be difficult to do the calculation when they are playing at the over 40, 000 capacity Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
While others find the question funny, others gave their answer.

Decibel is a unit used to measure the intensity of a sound or the power level of an electrical signal by comparing it with a given level on a logarithmic scale. I difined tiso let someone also calculate it. ??
