Asante Kotoko attacker, Nicholas Mensah is yet to play a game after Aduana Stars filed a protest against him and his club, Asante Kotoko.
The Brong Region-based club, filed a protest that Mensah is using a different name from the one he used at his formal club Delsanco FC which is a Division Two club in their region.
Aduana filed the protest after they drew with Kotoko in the Ghanaian Premier League.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has written to Kotoko to inform them of the protest filed against them and their player.
Mensah was reportedly on his way to sign for Aduana when he got a call that Kotoko wants to sign him. The player, according to multiple sources, changed his mind and rejected the move to Aduana to sign a 3-year contract for Kotoko.
Before being dropped from the team, Mensah was an integral part of the team and one of the few players who were scoring goals when the season started. After matchday six, Mensah had three goals to his name and he was sharing the top spot of the goal king race with Enoch Agblenyo of Karela United, Ibrahim Laar of Bibiani Gold Stars F.C., and Afriyie Mezack of Berekum Chelsea.
