Aduana Stars fines Elvis Opoku for breaking the club’s code and conduct

Aduana Stars has fined Elvis Opoku ¢3, 000 and has also been made to sign a bond not to repeat his mistake again.

Elvis Opoku was fined after comments he made on Nhyira FM in Kumasi.

Elvis broke the code and conduct of the club which no player is supposed to grant an interview without permission.

Before a player can grant an interview, the Communications Director of the club must be made aware first and must also give permission before the player can grant the interview.

Elvis and his father, Alex Camara pleaded with the management of the club at Dormaa and the management of the club listened to his plea.

Though he showed remorse, he was punished to deter other players from doing same.
