Ghanaian Premier League club, Aduana Stars FC is currently in DR Congo with just 15 players for their CAF Confederation Cup game against AS Vita Club.
The unusual number of players Aduana sent to DR Congo is as a result of financial challenges facing the club.
Aduana paid around $310 to acquire a visa for each player and also paid $50 for each player when they arrived in DR Congo.
In addition to the 15 players, they added seven other people including the coach and the medical team to DR Congo.
In total, the club will pay over $8,000 for the trip to DR Congo and in other to reduce the cost, the Dormaa based left Ghana with such a small number of players and backroom members.
Aduana won their first game against the Congolese club a fortnight ago and they must get a point in this game to help them stand a chance of making it out of their group.
