AFCON 2023: Equatorial Guinea shocks Ivory Coast, host nation on brink of exit

Equatorial Guinea has shocked the host nation, Ivory Coast out of the 2023 AFCON after beating them 4-0 in the last round of group matches.

The host nation are now the brink of being knocked out and they are now relying on the results of other games to know if they can make it to the next stage. The Ivorians finished third with 3 points.

Goals from Emilio Nsue in the 42nd and 73rd minutes, Ganet in the 72nd minute, Buyla in the 88th minute gave Equatorial Guinea the shocking victory over the two-time African Champions.
