Former CEO for BOST, Alfred Obeng has denied rumours that he went to church in his hometown Sefwi Bibiani in the Western Region to thank God for the sacking of his former boss, Boakye Agyarko, the former Minister for Energy.
Alfred Obeng, nonetheless, confirmed that he was in his hometown this weekend to greet the traditional leaders and also attended funerals on Saturday but did not go to church on Sunday.

According to him, he went to show himself to the traditional leaders after there were some reports that he was not feeling well after his sacking from BOST.
Also, he talked to them about projects he was doing in his hometown and assured them of the continuation of the project although he is no longer in office.
The former BOST CEO also said he has been asked to contest for the MP seat.
He stated that they have told to contest no matter what as the seat is “waiting for him”.
Alfred Obeng during the interview on Angel FM in Kumasi said he has a lot of options on his table but he is also considering that.
