Chelsea’s unbeaten run in all competitions has come to an end after they lost to rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the London derby.
The Blues were outplayed at the Webley stadium as they lost by 3 goals to 1.
Tottenham opened the scoring through a Dele Alli header in the 8th minute after David Luiz fouled Harry Kane.
Eight minutes later, Kane extended Tottenham’s lead with a long-range strike.
Tottenham could have scored more goals in the game but he missed most of their chances.
In the 54th minute, Son Heung-min made it 3 after he had missed the chances he got earlier.
The Korean went pass David Luiz easily and calmly put the ball in the net.
With 5 minutes to the end of the game, Olivier Giroud got a consolation goal for the away team through a header.
Tottenham has now leapfrog Chelsea to third place on the league table with 5 points behind Manchester City who are leading with 35 points followed by Liverpool with 33 points in second place. Chelsea now has 28 points, 4 points above Arsenal who is in 6th place with a game in hand.
