Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang today made donations to communities in the Bekwai Municipality. The donation was intended to help in the fight against the spread of the fatal outbreak in Amansie. He deemed it right to sensitize the residence of Bekwai and its environs.
The items shared included hand sanitizer disinfectants washing bucket popularly known as Veronica Buckets paper tissues liquid soap and a host of other items to communities and health facilities within the municipality.
The aspiring Member of Parliament donated 200 liquid soap, 100 Veronica Buckets, 3000 hand sanitizers, 50 washing bowls, and 100 paper towels to the people of the Bekwai Municipality.
Amansie Broni commended His Excellency the President for all the measures put in place towards the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
He also thanked the Ministry of Healths Ghana Health Service and also charged them to help curr the spread of this disease.
Lawyer Amofa advised the people of Bekwai and its environs to adhere to the directives by His Excellency the President in the combat against Coronavirus. He also called on the people of Amansie to rely on the World Health Organizations and other recognized Health Service institutions in Ghana for proper education on the disease to stop its spread.
He pledged his unflinching support for people of the Bekwai Municipality and urged others to turn to their communities to assist them in these times.
Persons who received these donations were Ghana Police Service (Amansie District)s various markets various hospitals and health facilities and Transport Unions within the Municipality.
