Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong has asked the fans of the club to pray for the team.
The captain after their game against Inter Allies said ‘everything is on course’ for the team ahead of the opening match in the CAF Confederation Cup game against Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks.
Speaking after the game, Amos said: “everything is on course… looking at the time the league went off till this time. I will say things are going on well for Asante Kotoko”.
Frimpong further added that although they are working harder, they will go further if the fans give them their support.
Asante Kotoko will make a trip to Kenya to face Kariobangi Sharks in their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
Kotoko has won an African trophy twice, winning their last trophy in 1983. The Sharks are making their first appearance in an African competition but they are optimistic they will make it to the group stage of the competition.
