Kennedy Agyapong has alleged Anas Amereyaw Anas wanted to blackmail the President, Nana Addo.
Speaking to an Accra based radio after being using by Anas, Ken Agyapong said Anas showed the video because Nana Addo did not give him anything.
‘He will show you the video and when you panic you will begin to offer him something’.
‘The President is very principle, he knows the law so he told him to go ahead and show the video’.
‘The President is a very strong-minded person so Anas could not threaten him. He did not give him a dime that is why he should the video. That is his style’.
‘He saw from the President’s posture that he is not even interested and scared’.
He also claimed Anas wanted $150, 000 from Nyantakyi through a lawyer but because Nyantakyi could not pay, he went ahead and showed the video.
He debunked Kwaku Baako’s comment that someone wanted to bribe Anas with more money saying ‘how can
Anas reject $2, 000,000? Someone who accepts $50, 000, how can he reject $2, 000, 000?’
Ken Agyapong has vowed to face Anas squarely as he and his lawyers are ready to provide their evidence.
