Asante Kotoko star, Richmond Lamptey is yet to sit on the bench in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast.
Lamptey has been a star in the Ghanaian Premier League and his call-up to the Black Stars brought joy to fans of the league as they believe he deserves to be in the team.
In a video posted on online, GBC sports journalist, Akosua Adjei asked the Black Stars coach Chris Hughton if he will play the midfielder in the next game which is against Mozambique.
Houghton replied only those he works with will know if Lamptey will play or not.
Lamptey is among the three players from the Ghana Premier League who got a call-up to the national team for the AFCON. Apart from Majeed Ashimeru, Lamptey is the only Central Midfielder who is in the national team yet he has been overlooked and yet to be selected for the match-day squad.
