Ghana football legend, Asamoah Gyan’s dream of playing for Kotoko is likely to come through as there are reports that he will join the club in January.
Gyan signed for Legon Cities when he returned to Ghana but he struggled with playing time due to injury.
According to the report, Kotoko and Gyan have reached an agreement and should he maintain his fitness, his announcement will be made in January.
The Post understands Kotoko wanted to register him before the Ghanaian transfer window closed.
Gyan, who is Africa’s all-time top scorer at the World Cup made headlines this year when he said in an interview with the BBC that he wants to play at the World Cup in Qatar this year.
