Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan will be signing a contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Thurday in Kumasi.
Though the former Sunderland striker has revealed he wants to play for Kotoko before he retires, the contract he will be signing with them has got nothing to do with him playing for the club.
Asamoah Gyan who is now also known for his numerous businesses will be signing this contract to sponsor the club.
Paradise Pack, a mineral water company owned by the Black Stars captain will sign a ¢10, 000 a month deal with the club according to reports gathered.
However, the contract will be signed on Thursday after Kotoko’s contract with Ever Pure has ended.
Asamoah Gyan and his brother, Baffour Gyan are both expected to be in Kumasi to finalize the deal.
