Asante Kotoko striker, Kwame Opoku has reportedly rejected an offer from Algerian side USM Algers.
According to the report, the player’s agent told the player to tell the club he is not ready to leave the club as the club was willing to sell him. Opoku told the club he wants to finish the season before considering a move away from the club.
Ghana Soccer Net reports that the Algerian club has made an offer of €300,000 but The Post can also confirm other club have made bigger offers for the 21-year-old striker.
In USM Algers offer for Kotoko, the club stated that Kotoko would get a 25% onward sale should they sell the young striker.
According to a report by Oyerepa FM, Algers want to buy Opoku on behalf of a French and later transfer him to the unnamed club.
Before joining the Kotoko from Nkroranza Warriors, he had spent time in Europe on trials at Serbian club Cucaricki.
