Asantehene and Asantehemaa to bury their sister today

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III will bury their sister, Nana Ama Serwaa Bonsu alias Elizabeth Cobina who died on December 6, 2018, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital at the age of 97.

We are sad to announce the passing away of Nana Amma Serwaa Bonsu. The burial rites comes off on Monday, 14th January 5:00AM-18:00PM at Manhyia.

The funeral of the late Nana Ama Serwaa will be held at Asantehemaa’s Palace on the 14 January 2019.

The Asantehene will sit in state to receive sympathizers at 1 pm after the burial service.
