Asantehene gives Kotoko ₵1.2 million for pre-season

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has given Kumasi Asante Kotoko ₵1.2 million to do their pre-season, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, Kontomponiaferehene and a member of the club’s Interim Management Committee revealed to some fans in Accra on Monday.

The team is currently having their pre-season at Beposo and are yet to play a friendly game.

Yesterday, Asantehene visited the team unannounced as part of his promise to make the team successful again.

Asantehene pays Kotoko’s ₵3 million debt

He has also paid the clubs ₵ 3 million debt and has promised to complete projects at the club’s training ground at Adako Jachie.
