Asantehene pays Kotoko’s ₵3 million debt

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has paid Asante Kotoko’s ₵3 million debt, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, Kontomponiaferehene and a member of the club’s Interim Management Committee disclosed to some Kotoko fans in Accra.

The debt includes unpaid arrears and other debts from the previous years.

The Asantehene has promised to financed the club as ‘it is the only institution’ disgracing him since he became the Asantehene.

He has also given money to the club to sign players for the upcoming season.
