Awako reaches verbal agreement with Hearts

Accra Great Olympics star, Gladson Awako has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Accra Hearts of Oak.

According to the report, Awako spoke with a Hearts of Oak board member and agreed to join the club, however, he would only join the club next season.

The report does not come as a surprise as Awako has confirmed he is a fan of Hearts Oak, therefore, switching to Olympics’ city rivals won’t surprise anyone.

Last month, Hearts of Oak wrote to Olympics to show their interest in Awako but to their surprise Olympics said they want $250,000, Patrick Razak and a goalkeeper.

Awako’s contract with Olympics ends at the end of the season.
