Bees have sting a 27-year old farmer to death at Emuoso at Asante Akyem in the Ashanti Region.
The 27-year old whose name has been given as Adams is said to have gone into the bush to pluck oranges with his sister.
According to reports gathered, Adams climbed the orange tree with a rope and a bag which he intended to put in the oranges.
After plucking a few oranges, the bees attacked Adams and his sister who was standing under the tree.
The young girl took to her heels to call for help while her brother struggled to get down from the tree.
When the residents in the area went to where Adams was plucking the oranges, Adams was found dead and hanging on the tree with the rope around his neck.
His body was removed from the tree taken to the hospital for an autopsy. His sister, however, survived the attack and was also taken to the hospital for medical attention.
