Kingsley Schindler has received a last-minute call-up from Black Stars coach Chris Hughton for the game against Angola.
This invitation comes as a replacement for Tariq Lamptey, who is currently recovering from an injury. Schindler, who plays for Koln, has earned a national team call-up for the first time in his career and may make his debut for the Black Stars against Angola on Thursday.

The 29-year-old has been consistent this season, having made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga. Schindler joined the Ghanaian team in Kumasi on Monday to train with the rest of the squad ahead of the game.
In the meantime, seventeen players have reported to camp, with the rest of the team expected to arrive today before departing for Kumasi tomorrow.
The players currently in camp include Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Joseph Wollacott, Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi, Kingsley Schindler, Patrick Kpozo, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Andre Ayew, Joseph Painstil, Ransford Yeboah, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, Majeed Ashimeru, and Edmund Addo.
