Asante Kotoko will start the season without two of their versatile players.
Justice Blay who joined the club in January this year will miss the start of the coming season. Blay picked up an injury during training days before the game between Kotoko and Hearts in Kumasi.
Per the report, after undergoing a review, the 30-year-old might stay home for at least 2 more months.
Sheriff Mohammed who also got injured last season will also miss the start of the season.
Osman Ibrahim who spent last season at King Faisal will also miss the start of the season. The striker, according to the report, will undergo surgery and will be out for a longer period.
