The soon to be built National Cathedral has divided Ghanaians as some people believe there are more pressing issues that need to be solved.
Traditionalists have also asked the President to build a National Shrine for them.
According to them, they are not jealous of the National Cathedral but they also pray for the country, the President and state officials whenever they pour libation especially during occasions.
Moreover, they are saying that they pay tax and therefore, it will be better for the President to provide a place of worship for them.
Building a Cathedral for Christians will be unfair, nonetheless, some of the traditionalists have hinted of demonstrating against the government.
While the National Cathedral is to be built in Accra, the traditional Priests have not asked for it to be built at a particular place.
