By the grace of God, we shall overcome – Nana Addo tells Ghanaians as he declares 25 March as a National Day of Prayer

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared Wednesday, 25 March 2020 as a National Day of Prayer.

The president in a televised address to the people of Ghana confirmed the death of one person who had the coronavirus.

In his address, he stated the country will close all its borders from midnight 22 March 2020 in an order to stop people with the virus from entering the country.

He urged all Ghanaians to pray to the Almighty God to save the country from the spread of the virus.
