C.K Akonnor finally rejects Kotoko’s Technical Director job

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, C.K Akonnor has finally rejected the Technical Director position which was offered to him by the club.

C.K after winning the Normalization Tier 1 competition was told he has been elevated to the position of Technical Director by Kotoko.

C.K, after the appointment, said in an interview that he will not take the job as he does not understand why they want to make him the Technical Director.

Today, C.K handed over Kotoko’s items in his possession. The former Black Stars captain handed over the car, house and other items which were given to him by the club.

C.K became the first Kotoko coach to qualify them to the group stage of a CAF competition for the first time in over a decade.

Kotoko signed Zacharialsen as his replacement and he will play his first competitive match against Kano Pillars in Nigeria in the CAF Champions League.
