C.K Akunnor gets Black Stars appointment

Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, C K Akunnor, has been given the opportunity to serve Ghana’s senior national team ,the Black Stars, as a member of the scouting team according to reports.

The former Black Stars Captain has earned himself a spot in Ghana’s scouting team at the 2019 Africa Cup of nations to be staged in Egypt in June.

As part of his duties, Akunnor will help Head Coach Kwesi Appiah and his technical team in monitoring Ghana’s opponents at the tournament.

The former Wolfsburg midfielder has earned himself a lot of accolades in the Ghanaian football space in recent times due to his exploits with Asante Kotoko in this year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition.
