The Player Status Committee has ruled in favour of C.K Akonnor for wrongful dismissal.
The former coach of Kotoko was ‘elevated’ to the position of Technical Director after winning the Normalization Committee Special Competition, a position he rejected.
C.K who served only 9 months of his 3 years contract reported his formal club to the Ghana Football Association and demanded a 2-year salary, league trophy cash and also being able to take the club to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Kotoko will now pay hefty compensation to C.K after losing the case.
The two parties, according to the report, are yet to be formally noticed of the ruling.
