Charlotte Osei was working for NDC – Odike

Founder and leader of United Front Party Akwasi Addai Odike yesterday on ABN Ghana’s Angel in the morning said the former EC boss ‘Charlotte Osei was doing the bidding of the NDC’.

The sacking of Charlotte Osei, according to him, has made all the smaller opposition parties happy except NDC.

The reaction of the NDC he indicated means she was working for the NDC.

‘PPP said they are going for thanksgiving service, we UFP are happy, CPP members are happy, PNC members are happy, Ayariga and his members are happy, all the other parties are happy and if NDC members are saying they disagree, then it clearly shows she was doing the bidding of the NDC’.

‘With the things that happened during the 2016 elections, it shows the woman did not come to work for Ghana but rather for NDC’.

Odike who was disqualified from contesting in the 2016 Presidential elections believes his disqualification by the EC was deliberate.

‘In 2012, I contested alongside Nana Addo, John Mahama, Ndoum and the rest under the watch of Afari Gyan and it was the same documents I used to fill the form in 2016. But this woman [Charlotte Osei] said no, she won’t let me contest’.

‘Mahama told her to clear all the smaller parties from contesting in the elections so that it will be between him and NPP’

He went on to say John Mahama after the disqualification of the other parties said he was ‘going to kill the elephant so why should’ he ‘worry about guinea fowls’.

Moreover, he said the audio in which an EC official was heard saying Felix Kwakye Ofosu pocketed funds meant for the EC to influence the outcome of the elections shows Charlotte Osei does not have the credibility to be the EC boss.

Odike also believes no matter what Charlotte Osei will do, she will never be the EC boss again.
