Chief arrested for defiling a girl

The Chief of Abonko, Nana Kwao Abonko in the Central Region has been arrested for defiling a girl (name withheld).

According to the report, the Chief sent the girl to go and buy something for him.

When the young girl returned, the Chief grabbed the girl and rapped her.

After the incident, the girl went home and informed her parents of what had happened and the incident was reported to the police.

The chief was arrested, however, he was denied bail and the issue is being investigated.
