Container falls on woman’s car moments after stepping out with her baby

What could have been a tragic loss to her family and the country in general turned out to be a real blessing when a woman narrowly escaped death.

The yet-to-be-identified mother and child reportedly left their car to buy soda from a nearby shop when a huge container fell onto their cars.

But for her timely decision to buy the soda, both woman and child would have been death by now considering the extent of damaged caused the car by the container.

The accident reportedly happened at Syokimau along the Mombasa road in Kenya on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Confirming the bizarre accident, Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, said the mother and her baby had just exited the vehicle to buy a soda at a nearby shop when the trailer smashed their car.

“Wacheni Mungu aitwe Mungu (Let God’s name be praised). A lady driver and her baby escape death by a whisker after a trailer crash landed on their car at Syokimau along Mombasa road just moments after getting out of the car to buy a soda,” the governor reportedly announced.

On a lighter note, children may be innocent, gullible, vulnerable and generally oblivious about the world, but there are certain periods in life when kids do the most hilarious and jaw-dropping things that reminds us just how impressionable they can be.

Currently trending on social media is a video of a little girl doing what appears to be her makeup. The Instagram user who shared the video happens to be the uncle of the little girl and got the video sent to him from his sister, the mother of the little girl.
